Parse ("we", "us") is an AI receipt scanner available at parseai.app and as a mobile app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Account information: your email address, or the identifier provided when you sign in with Apple or Google.
Receipts you scan: receipt images or the text read from them, and the extracted details (merchant, date, total, items, category).
Usage and diagnostics: scan counts for your plan, crash reports and basic technical data needed to keep the service running.
Purchase status: whether you have an active subscription, via Apple/Google and our subscription provider. We never see your payment card details.

How we use it

To read your receipts and save them to your account.
To send transactional emails you trigger, such as sign-in codes, email verification, security notices and exports you request.
To operate, secure and improve the app and to enforce plan limits.

We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell your personal data.

Service providers

We use trusted processors to run Parse: cloud hosting and database, an AI model provider to extract receipt data, a subscription-management provider, and an email delivery provider. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Retention and deletion

We keep your receipts while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app, which removes your data from our systems, subject to short backup windows and legal obligations. You can also email support@parseai.app.

Your choices

You can access, correct, export or delete your data from within the app or by contacting us. To stop any email from us, write to the address below.

Children

Parse is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
